For the background we wanted an empty new set so we looked on the internet until we found one suitable, this one was appropriate as it was spacious and had a good quality to it. We used PREMIER PRO to make this video using a green screen and we imported this picture into the software.

We then imported our testing video with a green/blue screen for the background as none of the clothes I was wearing were blue, this was fine. We then went to the effects menu in PREMIER PRO and selected 'KEYING' then 'COLOUR KEY' and dragged it onto our video. We then went to effect controls and selected the colour of the background to be the same as our blue screen. Then we adjusted the opacity levels until it looked realistic and pressed play.

For our research into forms and conventions of a music video we decided we would like to do it using a green screen back ground and do it in the style of a news report telling people about what we found out about the forms and conventions of music videos. (Left) is the final testing with the green screen back ground in place. We simply tested it by talking to check the audio and moving in a 360 degree roatation to check the movement in the video.

GREEN SCREEN TESTING

BELOW SHOWS HOW WE DID IT
