I particularly like the setting and lighting in this short clip of the music video as it is an urban dark lit area with artificial light used to highlight the artist. We aim to use a similar type of setting in our music video that correlates with the idea of an urban building/flat.

Again, for this video I especially like this setting for the band 'Hurts' to do their performance and we are heavily influenced by the idea of using a dull lit cabin as the setting for our performance area.

The reason I highlighted this clip was the shots of the water running down the girls face and hands which I thought was very visually impacting on camera and just an effective shot to film.

This short clips shows the paint war scene which is probably one of the best filmed scenes I have seen in a music video as it draws your full attention in as there is so much on show. The slow motion editing of the paint being thrown is such a great shot to film and works so effectively.

I selected this video to go on this page as it influenced me to think of similar creative ideas incorporating difficult editing into our video. This video uses after effects to show through the floor movement as if the camera is outside the building. These stunning visual effects can be the difference between a video looking average and a video looking professional.

I chose this clip from the start of this music video as I immediately was drawn to it. The idea of having movement and titles in the eye was a feature we all wanted to encorporate into our video for the start to show the title and artists name. Also the detail gone into the makeup of the subject makes the shot look even better.
