Dinner Table Set Up
This was the night before we filmed the dinner party in the woods scene and I wanted to ensure the table looked professional and well prepared so i set the table up in my own house which prepared me for the next day as I knew what went where and how to arrange the table and accessories. I started with the two long tables and then put the chairs around with the main one on the end as that where our main artist would be sitting. I then put the table cloths down which actually worked well with the colour of the chairs being both a gold colour. Then came the small details of plates, cutlery, napkins, glasses and the salt and pepper containers. I then set up my camera and took some still photos of the dinner table set up and sent them to the group to see what they thought of it.
Dinner Table In Woods Set Up
Setting up the dinner table in the woods required a huge amount of effort and determination as we only had three people to carry two large tables, four chairs and the accessories including filming equipment into the woods and back. Carrying the load took 3 trips in and out of the woods for the three of us and once we finally got it all in our chosen area of the woods we began setting up. Firstly we chose an area that was relatively flat so the tables would be even and then we started placing the chairs around the table. We used the chair with arm chairs on it for our main artist to highlight the importance of him. With some pathetic fallecy from the rain we needed to place an extra table cloth under the gold leafed one to ensure it didn't get soaked and look poor on camera. Obviously we did have some spectators as we were setting up asking what we were doing with all of this, so we had to be patient with people walking through our filming area.
