What is IA Sound and Light? 

 

IA sound and light is a lighting shop opposite my house. They sell and lease equipment ranging from simple desk lamps to speakers and rigging. I personally know the people who own the shop and have hired from them before. Their range of equipment will help us with lighting our sets and also any extra equipment, which we do not have ourselves. As allot of our scene are outdoors lighting is key in making the video look professional but to also highlight key features throughout our music video.

 

How will IA Sound and Light benefit us? 

We have found that lighting is a very key factor in making a music video look professional. If I scene is filmed properly but not lit in the correct way then it makes the video look amateurish. We may also struggle with props for our music video which IA Sound and Light are able to get hold of for me as i have a personal relationship with them. IA Sound and Light also have experts within the shop who can help me and advise the group on what lights to use if we want to recreate something from another video. This expert advice will also aid us in creating an excellent music video. I will also know that what we are hiring as a group is of good quality due to the nature of the shop, this is less risky than buying temporary lighting or hiring from someone who we dont know.

 

What do IA Sound and Light sell or lease ? 

 

IA Sound and Light are primarily a lighting company but they also sell a lot of speakers and have regular customers who are DJs who hire out equipment for nights out. They also sell a huge range of lights and not just simple lighting. They have special effect lighting and props such as smoke machines, which may have a use in our video as a creative idea. Although we may not use the wide range of equipment that they sell it is nice to know that we can get hold of good quality equipment for cheap and also rely on some help if needed in terms of suggestions on lighting
